Allison stays back with the Council while the general greetings and welcome start, but eventually, even they will blend into the crowd, into the light hearted frivolity that always comes with adding another person to their ranks. Another person free of the strife and the fighting, who will hopefully find the peace and sanctuary they are seeking in this place they’ve worked so hard to build.
She doesn't drift automatically to her family, but she does account for them every time her gaze sweeps the crowd. A necessity never lost from childhood, ever kept in all of them being swept into this world. If her gaze lingers on one of them in specific, until that head turns her way, even half the crowd away, and a corner of her mouth lifts, marginally, like she’s been caught out not being subtle, maybe that’s not surprising to anyone either.
There are a few words to exchange with the four people left standing next to her, the way there always are. Because they are always a little apart, a little adrift. Because of who they are. Because of what they have to do. The kinds of decision they have to make for the whole of this happily, beginning to party, congregation of faces.
But at least moments like this, it’s utterly worth it. The long, grueling hours and hard talks. Even harder compromises. Because the whole scene just fills her heart with such pride to see.

While Allison is often busy with Council Meetings and Council Business she can, also, regularly be around Krakoa itself.
Sometimes she drops in to help with hand-to-hand & self-defense classes. She doesn’t go in for the night parties much, but she can occasionally found on the edges watching everyone on the night Council Meetings run late. She, also, likes walking along the emptier parts of the beach and usually, she can be found there, de-stressing from especially the bad days, before going home.
While Allison is about Council Business across Krakoa she’s usually alone, but in her free time, before dusk falls, she can just as often be found with her adopted-daughter in tow, as well. Four-years-old and bright-eyed, Claire is the youngest person on the Krakoa, as she has been for the last four years, and she generally loves everything and everyone she runs into. Sometimes literally. Sorry about that. Four has been a very exuberant age for her.
