Eddie knows running on the beach might not look like much. This is an accomplishment for him. He's not worrying about sand getting in his shoes, or pressure on his knees and shins, or what trouble Richie might get up to without him. He's simply enjoying the exercise. He slows to an jog, then stops when he sees a new face. He's been in Krakoa a long time and tries to be nice to the newer arrivals. He knows they are often from bad situations. He gives a small wave.
