I've thought of a wonderful present for you... | Closed

WHO: Sephiroth and Rufus
WHERE: Northwestern part of America, in a small town
WHEN: Late in the first week of the month
WHAT: Sephiroth runs into Rufus while out looking for a new place to burn down. Hilarity Violence ensues.
WARNINGS: Violence, blood, potential death, probable cursing.

The novelty of being in a new world had worn off extremely quickly and Sephiroth was disappointed he hadn't found any hint of Cloud being in this world. The failed SOLDIER was his favorite plaything, and he'd quickly grown bored of playing with the humans he'd found here, so he'd decided to explore the continent and to see if he could find the blond.

Currently he was making his way through a small town in the north. Masamune was in hand and he was setting fire to the buildings, smiling as people ran around him. He wasn't concerned about survivors and even preferred them. If Cloud or any of his group was here than perhaps survivors would draw them to him quicker.

There was no time to react, no time to summon his own power before the attack hits him square on. His shotgun flies out of his hand as he hits the ground hard. He's stunned for a moment, he can barely breathe as he looks up at Sephiroth.

He's not giving up just yet, struggling to pull himself up. He doesn't have a lot of strength but if Sephiroth gets a little closer he may be able to inflict some damage with the electricity he can generate. "You're not going to win. Even if you defeat me today, I'm just going to come back for you."

There, just a little closer. Rufus's lips curves into a smirk as electricity gathered at his fingertips. He may not be able to win this fight but he was not going to go down that easily. He wondered if his father had begged for his life or if he had thought that Sephiroth would spare him.

"Go to hell, Sephiroth."

He doesn't have his full strength but he can still make this hurt. Instead of running away, he stumbles forward as he raises his hands, his eyes on Sephiroth's. He's not his father, he's not going to beg or cower.

He pulls as much energy as he could into the strike he aims right at Sephiroth's heart, the bolt of electricity flashing a bright red between them as the air crackles.
